Digital Artist/Modeler
CBT/Childs Bertman Tseckares Inc., 150 person architecture, interior design and urban planning firm based in Boston. CBT’s “Media LAB” is looking for a talented, motivated and energetic 3D Digital Artist/Modeler to join our dynamic and highly skilled team of design professionals.CBT is looking to expand its visualization capabilities. We are looking to innovate and generate cutting edge photo realistic rendering, modeling, motion, video and concept renderings for our multi-sector client base.

The candidate should possess a 4-5 years’ experience in-depth knowledge of 3dsmax/Mental ray, Maya and Photoshop/Premiere/After Effects and be able to handle a project from modeling and animation via lighting and rendering all the way to the finishing touches in post. Experience in architectural tools to quickly interpret/implement and understand SketchUP/Revit/AutoCAD files/plans and concept sketches is an advantage, but not required – it is necessary, however, to have a sense for and interest in design and architecture to be able to communicate well with clients in these fields. A keen eye for composition and a good sense of light, shadow and colors is very critical.

Tasks will include working with several teams developing concepts or produce still images and animation that present architecture, real estate, products and concepts. There will often be need for integration of 3d with live-action footage, and work will sometimes be independent on smaller projects and team-based on larger or business development type work.

Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential in meeting tight deadlines with attention to detail, aiming to produce the highest quality end product.
