Degree in architecture strongly preferred though candidates without an architectural degree, but a strong portfolio will also be considered.
You have – 5+ years experience. – Innate feel for composition and imagery. – Strong experience in 3dsMax and/or SketchUp, Vray, and Adobe Production Studio. – Ability to work on tight project deadlines in both a team and individual environment. – Strong time management skills. – Ability to Communicate effectively with designers and fellow artists. – Ability to direct project designers on what is needed to complete a project. – Ability to work on a project at any stage of the projects life-cycle. – Familiarity with Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, Nuke, rotoscoping, Camera matching are a plus – Must be eligible to work in the US
Responsibilities: – Predominantly production based, this role will involve modeling, lighting, texturing, rendering, image composition, layout, animation and retouching in a production environment. – Maintain connections with leaders in the industry. – Maintain a level of expertise in the field. – Work with the team to continue or improve the current high standards and ensure creative vision is maintained through production.

Job Description:
This is a leadership position within the Artist team working closely with the Creative Director to manage Artists both internally and externally. The Lead Artist/Associate Art Director should be focused on providing creative feedback to other artists throughout the production process, as well as a final Visual QA check when the finished model is submitted. The Lead Artist/Associate Art Director needs to judge when content is meeting the appropriate visual quality level while also meeting the requirements of the appropriate spec. The Lead Artist/Associate Art Director should also help identify what the appropriate career path for an artist should be. Do they need more training, or are they ready for more advanced work?
The Lead Artist/Associate Art Director can be creating content as time allows, but should place a priority on helping artists whenever necessary. The primary incentive for the Lead Artist should be the number of passing models produced by their team, and the number of qualified artists that they manage.
Responsibilities:
● Interact with artists through a variety of channels – in person, VOIP, recorded videos, written messages, etc. Provide regular feedback to the artist while each model is in production
● Approve or reject models that are submitted for final Visual QA
● Work with artists who might be onsite or remote
● Provide coaching and mentoring to other Artists
● Provide feedback about skill level of Artists to management
● Review new project specification documents for issues
● Be available to answer questions and provide timely, actionable feedback
● Review artist estimates on deadline-driven projects
● Communicate artists’ concerns to management
● Contribute to the production of training documentation, tutorials, and project post-mortems
Position Requirements
● 5+ years of experience in a production environment within the 3D industry
● Experience managing 3D Artists
● A strong eye for quality and photorealism
● Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate creative concepts
● A portfolio of existing photoreal 3D work

We are looking to expand our CGI department and are looking for talented and ambitious junior artists that can grow with us and achieve our aims of becoming a leading CGI and Animation studio.
If you have an excellent portfolio of architectural illustration and are keen to develop your career we’d love to hear from you. We are aiming to build quality orientated team lead by highly experienced leading artists and directors. The environment is fun, hardworking and ambitious and the successful candidate will be given freedom to show what they can do plus assistance in learning and developing new skills.
An interest in photography and architecture is essential as is a positive nature and a desire to go the extra mile to create the best possible work.
We are looking for candidates with relevant industry qualifications or who can show they have learnt the required software in a commercial environment. Some experience would be an advantage but not essential, you must include some architectural visuals in your portfolio that should be no bigger than 5MB. Links to any animation work should be included. You should be confident in reading and interpreting CAD drawings and sketches in to realistic, accurate, detailed 3D models and display a knowledge of lighting and a understanding of materials. Software that will be used includes but is not limited to: 3DS Max, Vray, RPManager, Multiscatter, Adobe Creative Suite. Sketchup, Realflow, Eyeon Fusion and PF Track usage would be beneficial but is not essential.
